The mask bar at Scratch Goods is a self-service, interactive, BYOB experience. A perfect pairing to brunch in the West Loop, or a relaxing escape with a friend. Guests spend 60 minutes at a private table in our sunny event space, guided by a Scratch Goods team member through several of our best-selling skincare products.
You’ll learn how to mix up a custom mask using rotating mixers, do a full oil cleanse with hot towels, learn how to mix, apply, and remove a clay mask, and finish with lots of moisturizing and a warm jade roller tutorial. Armed with tips + techniques to incorporate into your own self-care ritual, you’ll leave refreshed + glowing!
All products used at the mask bar are handmade in Chicago with simple, food-grade ingredients. Full ingredient lists are found at the links below, and can be made available at your event. Please inform our team upon arrival of any topical allergies, especially to plants or essential oils - we may be able to accommodate aversions with alternative products.
Product lineup: tea tree cleansing oil / lash + brow oil / all-over butter / sea, matcha, + charcoal masks / jasmine rose skin drink / dark matter coffee eye butter / light + heavy face oils / face butter / warm jade roller. Guests will each take home a mask brush
To respect your fellow guests and not disrupt the event, late arrivals will not be permitted. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in with our staff and get settled.
Scratch Goods is located at 847 W. Randolph St. Parking in the West Loop can be difficult - we recommend public transportation (we're near the Morgan Green Line), taxi, or rideshare. When using Uber or another rideshare app: please double-check that the address is correct - we're at 847 W Randolph! Third party apps have been delayed in updating our business locations, and you may end up at one of our old locations if you add your destination by name.
We are not able to offer refunds for any event purchases. Please let us know if you are unable to attend, and we will work with you to reschedule.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, updated March 2022:
We're still masking. We're still requiring proof of vaccination for Covid-19 for all events. At check-in, please provide your vaccine card (or a legible photo of the card), along with a photo ID. The final dose of the vaccine must have been administered at least two weeks (14 days) prior to the event.
Our event space accommodates up to 30 guests. Our team is fully vaccinated, boosted, and will remain masked throughout your event. Masks are required to be worn when not seated at your table and actively drinking - this includes upon entry, while shopping, or moving to and from the restroom.
