What can you make with herbs, citrus, sugar, and ice?
We've partnered with Seedlip for a unique, interactive class combining custom skincare and spirit-free cocktails: 'create-your-own-scrub' meets 'build-your-own-cocktail!'
This 90-minute class will seat you at a table with fresh, aromatic, and local ingredients that will be used to build both a premium drink and a take-home sugar scrub! A creative and mindful way to unwind.
First up: Aria from Seedlip will guide you in building a meticulous, aromatic cocktail using their own distilled non-alcoholic spirit, local kombucha, raw local honey, and garden-fresh herbs. Bring your own booze if you'd like to make it stronger! Aria recommends gin, vodka, or blanco tequila for this particular cocktail.
Next: Scratch Goods will jump in with scrub-making instruction - guests will create their own customized sugar scrubs to take home and enjoy in the shower for an aromatic, skin-smoothing experience. We'll also cover the basics of exfoliation and help you build a profile using some of the same ingredients used in the cocktail.
The cocktail:
-
Seedlip's Garden 108: non-alcoholic distilled spirit featuring an herbal blend of peas, hay, rosemary, thyme + spearmint
-
Komunity Kombucha's Flow: aromatic star anise, butterfly pea flowers, fennel + lavender
- raw, local honey from The Hive
- citrus
- fresh herbs
- fancy ice
- optional: bring your own spirits (gin, vodka, or blanco tequila recommended)
The scrub:
- pure cane sugar
- carrier oil: local organic sunflower oil, rice bran oil, vitamin e
- Scratch Goods lemon rosemary essential oil
- fresh lemon peel, rosemary, spearmint, and thyme
- customizable label
- a take-home, full-size essential oil of your choice (lavender mint, cedar pine, or lemon rosemary)
Tickets are sold by the seat, but guests may be seated at a larger table with others.
