Sick of breakouts, and the ultra-drying products used to treat them? Want to fade dark spots without irritating skin? We made a product for that - the spot pot contains powerhouse botanical ingredients in a calming balm that won’t leave you regretful. After several years of in-house trials of natural brightening products, we narrowed down our fave ingredients to turmeric, matcha, and tea tree oil. Blending these ingredients into a rich solid balm allows them to shine while also calming and healing, not drying and flaking. We think it’s the best way to treat early, active, and past breakouts.

Turmeric: This bright yellow powder, a relative to the ginger family, is anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and full of antioxidants. It can help calm irritation and over time, work to brighten pigmentation.

Matcha: The ground-up green tea leaf makes for a powerful protectant. Packed with antioxidants, matcha can also help to brighten and protect against signs of sun damage.

Tea Tree Oil: Derived from a native plant of Australia, tea tree oil helps to fight acne bacteria. It is also non-comedogenic and won’t clog pores, and has a fresh, menthol aroma.

We’ve combined these active botanicals with some of our favorite fats to create a soothing balm - mango butter, local sunflower oil, and vitamin e are all meant to nourish and calm. So while you’re fighting the breakout, you’re not left flaky and overly dry.

One special note about this product: it’s a vibrant yellow-green color! This comes from potent turmeric and matcha powders, and the color is worth it. To keep this hue off of light-colored sheets (where it can definitely stain!), we suggest using it at night, wearing it through a couple episodes on Netflix, then wiping off before bed.

How to add spot pot to your routine: Apply at night, immediately after cleansing. Leave it on for at least 20 minutes - more if you can. Then wipe it away with a damp cloth or with wet hands. Then finish up the rest of your routine - serums or treatment next, then moisturizers, oils, and heavier products.
