The Artist: Mara Love is a Chicago-based multi-talented musician, actress, and poet blending jazz, theater, and storytelling into bold, emotionally layered music. An X Factor USA alum and Chicago made DCASE Showcase Grand Prize winner, she has toured internationally, performed across major festivals and broadcast platforms, and provided supporting vocals for numerous artists across genres (like Barbra Streisand, Heart and more).
Her upcoming EP, Flowers Kept 4 Me, centers the flowers she's gathered through relationships, love, heartbreak, healing and growth. Each song holds a lesson earned - moments of letting go, choosing herself, softening again, and learning what she deserves. The project isn't about perfection or pretending things didn't hurt - it's about honoring what shaped her and sharing that beauty forward.
Address: 127 N Peoria Street. Our entrance is shared with Grace Loves Lace and Thrive Collective, just south of Randolph before the entrance to Gin Alley - take the stairs or elevator to the second floor!
Accessibility: Though our building has an elevator, our space is elevated another 5 steps from the second floor.
Parking: Peoria and Randolph have metered parking, but spots are hard to find during evening and brunch hours! There’s also a paid lot right next door at Washington + Peoria. We're 3 blocks from the Morgan Green Line and 1.5 blocks from the Hasted bus.
